Activity Expert: in your group talk about examples where your school has supported students. Discuss ways that practice could be improved. Group share: in your small groups share your wellbeing examples which describe ways to support students. Identify the SLSO role in each area of the wellbeing framework by sorting the statements.

Case Study Talk about the scenarios for supporting students. Some highlight effective practice for supporting students respectfully and some highlight less effective practice. Discuss ways that practice could be improved. Working small groups refer to the scenarios that describe ways to support students. Discuss each scenario and sort them into examples of supporting students respectfully and examples where more could be done to respect students. For the scenarios that do not show respect or privacy for the student or there are safety issues, discuss what could be changed to address these.
