Doorstep Crime Uninvited ‘cold callers’ offering home maintenance & gardening services, or selling goods. Choose ‘vulnerable’ victims. Excessive prices for often poor work. Taking deposits/full amount and not returning to do the work. Failing to give cancellation rights Refusing to sort out problems. Worthless or no guarantees/warranties. Taking victim to withdraw cash. Hard sell of products, causing fear to residents. Distraction burglary/Bogus callers.
