The study of theater can be found in the class room, on-stage and back-stage.
At each high school:
- A non-musical production is staged annually
- A musical theatre production is staged as a collaboration of several departments (theater, choirs, band, art)
- “Dessert theater” is a student-directed, student produced and sometimes student written night of one-acts
Summer Music Theater is a district-wide community tradition operated through RCS Summer Learning Program.

Beyond learning the theater process, you learn about others and a lot more about yourself.
