1 Meetoo – 5 Top Tips to use in 2016
Customer Success Guide

2 1. Display WebApp link & WiFi SSID on all slides
Adding both the Meetoo WebApp URL and your venue’s WiFi SSID (network name along with password if required) will help increase participation by being a constant reminder that you are using Meetoo in your meeting. It is also a way of giving any late comers the information announced at the beginning of your meeting. Add the information to your ‘Slide Master’ as it will appear on every slide without you having to do it manually

3 2. Give your message moderator more space
Whether your messaging moderator is using a tablet or a laptop to view messages, you can use the built in control buttons to minimise parts of the Meetoo control dashboard. The ‘Hamburger’ menu button will minimise/maximise the Meetoo feature control menu The arrow button will minimise/maximise the messaging ‘inboxes’

4 3. Encouragement, Encouragement and Encouragement
Your attendees will have some many reasons to not engage with Meetoo or any app: “it’ll drain my battery”, “I don’t like installing apps on my personal phone”, “it’s not real anyway, my questions never get answered”, “if I answer wrong I’ll get in trouble with my boss”, “it’s a waste of time, the company doesn’t really care what I think”. Set the tone for your meeting and Meetoo early by having your Host or MC introducing Meetoo conveying the reasons for using the app and how engaging will benefit them. You can do this also by asking meeting relevant warm-up polling questions via Meetoo. Show your attendees it is real by asking them to submit a message or question during the introduction and having the Host or MC read some out from a tablet or display on screen. Regularly encourage attendees to participate using the app by asking all Presenters to remind the audience to send questions in via Meetoo and to respond to polls. It is also useful to encourage participation before and after breaks.

5 4. Everyone loves a Word Cloud (well almost everyone)
Word Clouds can be used effectively in a variety of ways during or after your Meetoo meetings... During – At the start of your meeting ask attendees to send in one word that describes how they are feeling. This will give your Host an opportunity to set the tone for the meeting by responding to some of the emotions that are biggest (most popular) in the Word Cloud. During – Before they leave, asking participants to enter one word to describe their key takeaway from the meeting can produce a hugely motivating Word Cloud to end the meeting on. After – taking all messaging/question content sent in via Meetoo and turning it into a Word Cloud can highlight key themes from the meeting. It is important to remember that a Word Cloud will take all context out of the messages, so this use is probably not suitable to display in the meeting.

6 5. Measure it, measure everything!
Meetoo is the perfect platform to evaluate and measure any and all aspects of your meeting and your meeting content. Discovering what was truly valuable to your attendees will help you improve time and time again Evaluate each session before moving onto the next – this ensures the responses you get are accurate as participants do not have to try and recall a session from the day before Evaluate each meeting day before attendees leave – this way you will have more responses to base the success of the meeting on as some attendees may have left before the final closing session Ask for feedback by encouraging participants to use Meetoo’s messaging feature – small amounts of qualitative feedback can often be as useful as large quantitative data sets captured via polls
