Latest news: Several of our Year 6 class were treated to a VIP day with the Lord Mayor on Wednesday because they won a competition to be Lord Mayor for the day. This involved drawing a picture to show how they would improve Coventry. As you can see from the photos, they had a fantastic day and were great ambassadors for our school Special mention certificates were awarded to: Reception - Jamison Yr 1 – Keegan Yr 2 – Elliot & Wesley Yr 3 – Sienna Yr 4 – Lucy Yr 5 – Abbie Yr 6 – Chelsea, Jaimee, Latif, McKenzie & Violet Reminder – Staff Training Day: School will be closed to pupils next Friday, 20th October. Cook and Eat Well in Coventry: Please see the back of the “What’s on …..” page for details of a free healthy cooking course taking place at Limbrick Wood Baptist Church. Bush Close Pedestrian gate : Please make sure you use the pedestrian gate when walking into school from the Bush Close side of our school site, rather than the main entrance which is intended for vehicles. Thank you HOPE Programme for parents of children with ASD/ADHD/SPD: The free taster session will be held on Monday 16th October between 11.00am and 12.30pm at The Den at the back of the Central Hall. Old £1 coins: Please note that we can no longer accept the old £1 coins from Friday 13th October because they will be out of circulation throughout the UK on Monday 16th October.

This also includes products which have “may contain nuts due to the manufacturing process” in the allergens section of the product’s wrapper. Please ask any member of staff for further information. The bell goes at 8.55am. Children need to arrive at school between 8.45am and 8.55am, in order to undertake early morning work. Therefore we will continue to record poor punctuality. If children arrive after 8.55am, they will be recorded in the late book and their parents/carers will be asked to sign the late book and record the reason why.
