3 CCRAG – Aims & Objectives
CCRAG is a Partnership consisting Local Authorities from the East, South, East and South West Regions of England and was originally established in 2004 CCRAG exists to improve outcomes for all children with a particular emphasis on Children Looked After, Children in Need, and those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities CCRAG Local Authority Members commit to working in a collaborative way to more effectively match children in their care to high quality placements, supporting improved outcomes for these children

7 CCRAG – How does it work? The Partnership carries out shared monitoring visits and has an exceptional fee increase system that improves results whilst reducing workload amongst Local Authority Partners CCRAG maintains a Providers Database, which supports the sourcing, contracting, monitoring of children’s placements in independent and non-maintained special schools and children’s residential care homes
