2. Teaching tips:
This is a great way to understand and interpret tally charts. Explain that tally charts are used to record the amount of something, it is another way of counting. Look at the tally chart and see if you can match it to the correct corresponding number. Remember, once a number has been revealed go back to the tally chart and count the tally to reinforce their understanding.
