New Innovation Room Master
Innovation features Room Scenarios Recall with one group-address All function in the room (e.g. lighting, blind, fan coil, sockets and thermostat) are setting Recall internal (e.g. binary inputs) Recall external (e.g. reception) Device connection internal between in- and outputs without group-address © ABB STOTZ-KONTAKT GmbH 2CDC N0201 | Slide 2

Second Step - Overview Room: Commands
External commands from the Reception Check In – Room occupied Check Out – Room vacant Standby – Room free for Servicing Device internal commands from the binary inputs Keycard on the entrance Master on the bedside Emergency call in the bathroom Room internal commands (via bus) Sensor inputs switch device outputs Change the operating mode of the Room Thermostat (RT) Integration of further KNX-devices © ABB STOTZ-KONTAKT GmbH 2CDC N0201 | Slide 3

Room Scenario Overview
Altogether 16 Room Scenario are configurable Room Scenario are grouped in pairs Keycard move Keycard remove Each Room Scenario can be activated on receipt of an externally 1 byte telegram or device internally via a binary input can control up to 7 communication objects these controls can be used to control the Room Master itself, external KNX-device in the room or in the building, e.g. the reception © ABB STOTZ-KONTAKT GmbH 2CDC N0201 | Slide 4

Room Scenario Overview: Events
A Room Scenario consists of two control events one can be sent immediately other can be sent immediately or with a delay Per control event it can configured whether a KNX Scene is trigged internally or via the bus two 1 bit values are sent the Room Temperature is switched on/off a certain operation mode in the Room Thermostat is set the automatic function for the blinds is activated the internal blocking of the inputs is activated © ABB STOTZ-KONTAKT GmbH 2CDC N0201 | Slide 6

Room Scenario KNX Scene
On activation of a Room Scenario via a only KNX Scene This has clear advantages: Simple integration of further sensors and actors in the room Clear separation to other rooms by use of one “room-group address” No unnecessary bus load by internal Room Scenario (internal used) Flexible configuration of the functionality © ABB STOTZ-KONTAKT GmbH 2CDC N0201 | Slide 7
