7 Innovative Practices (IP) collection
All partners were invited to contribute to the collection and add their experiences CHS analysed the list based on the key educational factors (KEFs) that were the outcome of focus group discussions with medics and teachers involved in hospital school education. These are: Relationships Making sense and constructing knowledge Assuming roles Metacognition Individualities Inter-institutional communication

8 Innovative Practices (IP) collection
Based on analysis, CHS identified 4 IPs that covered most of the KEFs. These were the best match for the needs of the school Instruction Cards/TA instructions were drawn up for these 4 KEFs, with a view that these could be used as a basis for anyone (teachers, hospital staff or parents) wishing to use them to carry out their own TAs at their own institution These Instruction Cards serve as templates for all partners to create their own, based on their chosen IPs from the collection
