5. Classroom Procedures
Warm Up and Word of the Day: (5 minutes) Reviews vocabulary, terms, concepts taught in class. Word of the day to develop vocabulary looking toward CAHSEE and PSAT/SAT/ACT
Late/Absent Work Forms: Forms must be filled out and attached to assignment. Late work will lose points per day late; after one week assignment is graded at 50% maximum. As assignments build upon each other late assignments may affect the grade of future assignments.
**YCJUSD Policy- Excused absences = 2 days to make up work**

6. Procedures Continued
Reading Requirement: 200 pages per quarter (250 pages for Honors). Students will book quiz with me upon finishing their book.
Office Hours: Tuesday and Thursday until 4pm; assignments, tests, and projects can be redone.
Life Happens Pass: Entitles student to submitting major project/ paper late up to one week (one per semester).
Credit Card: Students earn incentives through positive academic behaviors and good citizenship
