He has also received post-graduate education at the University of Southern California, the Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California, and the University of California San Diego.He has been recognized as a fellow by the American College of Physicians

His favorite is tennis, which he plays frequently. He was also a varsity letterman in lacrosse during his time at Tufts University in Boston. Since he lives in Malibu, California, which is one of the most beautiful places in the world and is known for consistently warm weather, he is able to spend time outside very often.

This organization provides care for patients who are infected with AIDS in the city of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. As a trained physician, Tang is able to provide high quality care for these patients who so desperately need it, and prevent the spread of AIDS, which is a highly communicable disease.
