ARIB, ATIS, ETSI, IEEE, TIA, TTC and WiMAX Forum
The global core specifications for each of the IMT-2000 radio interfaces have also been received and can be referenced at:
Both IMT-2000 CDMA MC and OFDMA TDD WMAN submitted updates that included an FDD and TDD component
Both submitted as updates to existing radio interface and not as new radio interfaces
France, Germany, Sweden and China oppose having a TDD and FDD component in the same radio interface
As of Friday, no decision made to include a TDD and FDD update for CDMA-MC and OFDMA TDD WMAN

3. Ongoing discussion are still being held at this time.
M.1457 Revision 9
Offline discussions held on Friday, February 13 between France and Germany, along with WiMAX OFDMA FDD proponents. TIA expresses concern.
Possible way forward:
M.1457 Chair will re-draft inputs from TIA and IEEE and will put into separate TDD/FDD sections of the document (i.e., 5.2.x for CDMA/TDD and 5.6.x for WiMAX/FDD)
The thought is to have draft text sent back to the proponents which might include some questions for further information related to the proponents introduction of new duplex scheme.
(Should be of concern to TIA/3GPP2). Depends upon how much/how detailed oriented would the questions be/would 3GPP2/TIA have time to review and respond to these questions.
If this goes forward, ITU-R WP5D would probably anticipate a response during the June 2009 meeting.

4. M.1580/1581 – Emission Requirements for IMT-2000
The Chair is trying to finalize M.1580and M.1581 at this meeting
ATIS raised concerns, stating…would like to include ACLR values
TIA address all concerns regarding Annex 2
Issues on Annex 6 still open
Again, the M1580/1581 Chair is looking to close this document this meeting; however, ATIS could hold the document open until the June, possibly October meeting.

5. PARAMETERS OF IMT RADIO INTERFACE TECHNOLOGIES FOLLOWING WRC-07
3GPP2 submitted inputs based on the request from WP5D for Radio Interface parameters
All contributions are still being discussed.
This is a preliminary update as of Friday, February 13. The ITU-R WP5D meeting concludes on Tuesday, February 17, 2009; thus, could provide updated information during closing plenary.
