2. Vocabulary
Mainstay (n)– the most important part of something. The part that supports everything else. The mainstay of the Roman military control of Italy was the splendid system of roads.
Odyssey (n)– a long, eventful journey. My year long trip was an odyssey of discovery.
Grueling (adj)– so difficult it’s exhausting. It was a grueling two-day walk up the mountain.

I am sure that I had more fun than you.
