CATALOGING RECOMMENDATIONS
Differentiate general vs. reference ebook titles eg. ebook, refeb Use ISBNs for electronic versions when available Use “base” call number for browsing and lists Prefer ONE bib record concept unless large aggregator collection; provides discoverability Use vendor records for large collections Use 538 system requirements and 533 reproduction notes, as appropriate Validate records using routine database and authority maintenance processes
