Did You Know?... Below are 10 fun and interesting facts about roller coasters: Fastest is the Formula Rossa, at 149 mph Fastest looping coaster is the viper at 70 mph. Tallest is Kingda Ka at 456 ft. Longest is the Steel Dragon, over 8,100 feet long. Ice slides led to roller coasters. First looping coaster was built in France. The longest wooden coaster is Beast at Kings Island. Front car provides most thrilling experience. Back seat provides most “air time” Coaster tracks that people can drive their car on.
