2 Greetings to all our dear friends from Jordan…We love you and your food!
I am Pranav Gade from class 8-B of our school.I will be presenting the views of my friends Ms.Purva, Mst.Abhay, Ms.Arushi and Ms.Palisha on their behalf. We were assisted by our teachers Sanchayeeta Mitra, the ISA Coordinator of our school, Mrs. Isha Vaidya, Mrs. Ragi Jayan and all our other teachers and friends. We would like to thank you for the lovely presentation OUR DAILY. It has helped to add on to our knowledge enormously. Since we are not very familiar with all the items displayed, there are a few questions that came to our mind when we saw the presentation. We also found so much common as well as uncommon between our cuisines. In this presentation, we have tried to put together some of our views and observations. Please feel free to correct us if we are wrong!!!

3 The food looks awesome ! By Purva Goyal , CLASS 8 I think that you have a light breakfast, so how do you make up for it? How do you make up for the defict carbohydrates in your diet? What is hummus and how is it prepared? How are your food habits affected by your climate?

4 Fruits are an important part of our breakfast also
Fruits are an important part of our breakfast also. We eat a lot of Bananas, Watermelons, Musk melons, Apples and Papayas. Sometimes, we have a heavy breakfast. We drink Lassi or Chaas…It is made up of churned Curd and milk and water. We can drink it sweet or salted. It cools the body in summer and is said to have medicinal importance. Lassi

5 Hi, I’m Abhay Rathore , a class 8th student living in Navi Mumbai - India. It was a pleasure to know about your breakfast routine and share my queries with you. Is falafel a fried dish? Also, you drink milk for breakfast quite often. Does this give your day a good start?

6 The breakfast we have depends on where we live
The breakfast we have depends on where we live. For example, South Indian dishes like Dosa or idli(see pic) with sambar(a type of indian curry) has nothing in common with north indian parathas. So, India is said to have unity in diversity. Is it the same in Jordan too? If yes, do your food habits vary geographically or culturally?

7 Hi there! I’m Arushi Pandey from class 8, Ryan International School, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. I learnt a lot about your breakfast habits, thanks to your excellent presentation on the topic. The presentation was nice, but as our food habits are different, I want to know about the preparation method of hummus. Also, are there any varieties or different kinds of hummus?

8 Hello! I am Palisha Vohra from class 8. Your Presentation was awesome and it has helped me learn a lot. But I have some doubts ... First, what is the process of making labeh? And, is falafel one of the staple foods in Jordan?

9 Thank You Prepared by: Pranav Gade,Class 8, Division B, Ryan International School(ICSE), Kharghar, Navi Mumbai.
