3 What is Peer-to-Peer? Peer-to-Peer enabled modules can actively update input channel status to specific output channels, and then output status can be changed directly by the status of input channel. Key Benefits Proactive message from field, no need for constantly polling, minimize the network traffic Enhanced response time, IO module can have real-time response in the field without involving the central controller

GCL is the way Advantech put logic operation capabilities into Ethernet I/O modules. The control logic rules can be configured and downloaded through graphical interface in ADAM.NET Utility. Key Benefits Intuitive and Graphical design shorten the learning curve. Up to 16 logic rules can be defined in one module, and the rules can be cascaded to build advanced control sequence Control logic can be extended over Ethernet and cross modules, which is powerful enough to eliminate controller in simple application.

20 Facility Monitoring Heartbeat signal from existing device, with GCL function, ADAM-6000 module can count the input signal and act as external watchdog device. Once the heartbeat stopped, ADAM-6000 module can either reset the device or pass alarm signal to central office via Ethernet Reset Central Office Alarm
