Flowers are living creatures and they continue to grow and die. They are not frozen none of my photographs of flowers are the same, they are continually evolving. It is important when photographing flowers to be conscious of this.

I am really interested in flower photography and this body or work gave me inspiration on ideas for my own body of work. Flowers are all so different and individual, like people. We often miss small details that often increase the beauty and mystique of the flowers. In Barbara Bordnick’s work, she used macro to create beautiful photos of the flowers’ petals and stems.
