1 How to manage papers and submit reviews as a PC Member/Reviewer

Step 1 Receive from a Track Chair asking for a review As a reviewer, you will be asked to review through 1 of 2 methods, both using Method 1 - You may be sent an invitation with a link to which you can accept or decline the invitation Method 2 - You may be sent an with only a link to the conference page for which you have been assigned as a PC Member Method 3 – Alternatively you can login through the AMS website by accessing the conference page. All 3 Methods are illustrated on the following slides

Step 1 Method 1 Receive from Track Chair with Invitation As a reviewer, you will first receive an from a track chair asking you to be a PC member You will be provided a link in the to the EasyChair page with the invitation If you do not already have an account with EasyChair, the link still takes you to the invitation page but you will need to setup an account if you accept the invitation. Account setup instructions are located on the AMS website under the “Help” tab

Account setup instructions are located on the AMS website under the “Help” tab

6 Login to easy chair through AMS-web.org website
Step 1 Method 3 Login to easy chair through AMS-web.org website Alternatively You can access the EasyChair page through the conference webpage on the AMS-web.org website.

7 Step 2 Login to EasyChair.

8 Select the correct “role”
Step 3 Select the correct “role” Select PC member since we are submitting a review for a Track Chair A PC Member is a regular reviewer

9 Step 4 Now you are logged into EasyChair as a PC Member for a conference The toolbar is the guide for most of the conference activities. The items on your toolbar depend on your current role. Submission Tab – where you see the papers you have been assigned for review Reviews Tab – see all papers assigned to you for review & submit reviews, do not assign subreviewers, I repeat, DO NOT ASSIGN SUBREVIEWERS!!! Events Tab – tracks what happens in the system, IE – when a submission is uploaded etc. WMC20_Canterbury Tab – The Tab displays the name of the conference you are currently working with/under. This tab allows you to change your role within the conference as well as view conference information uploaded to easychair. If you are an author and reviewer, this is where you would change to your author role. Support Tab – Easy Chair Help Submission Form - availability on a conference by conference basis News Tab – Provides news about EasyChair EasyChair Tab – access to account information, other conferences, other roles within same and other conferences.

10 Now you are on the “Submission” Tab.
Step 5 Now you are on the “Submission” Tab. Clicking on “Submission” tab takes you to this page You can also download the submissions using this link Clicking this “Folder” icon will allow you to download the paper for review

11 Now you are on the “Reviews” Tab.
Step 5 Now you are on the “Reviews” Tab. Clicking on “Reviews” tab takes you to this page Click the green plus to add your review for this submission

12 Now you are on the “Submit Review” page.
Step 6 Now you are on the “Submit Review” page. After clicking “Submit review,” Use the interactive form (left) to complete the review. Just below the evaluation items, two boxes appear: One box is for entering comments to the author. The other is for entering comments to the track chairs. In this box, you may wish to indicate if you believe the paper should be considered for an award (Fenyo—best student paper, Darden—best research methodology paper, Hollander—best services/retailing paper, etc.).

13 Once you click “Submit”, a confirmation page will appear.
Step 7 Now you are on the “Confirmation” page. Once you click “Submit”, a confirmation page will appear. You have submitted your review as a PC Member
