What is Canvas… A connected TV platform that is non-subscription based
An upgrade path to Freeview A standards-based horizontal-market for manufacturers and content providers It’s extendable Freeview in 18 million homes, 10 million primary sets

But it is also… A joint venture between seven different companies
One of many connected TV platforms in a fast growing market Not launched yet

What will it allow? Viewers to access On Demand content from all PSBs and (potentially) their ISP Broadcasters to add richness and depth to their linear programming using the IP connection Third parties to do the above or to build web based applications that will add value to the TV experience* *maybe not right away…
