1. What Does It Mean?
Students will practice vocabulary using Popplet App. They will create a concept map with vocabulary words and definitions for “Master Frog.”
Follow the directions below to complete the activity.
Select the Popplet App.
Click gear shift, then click “make new popple.”
Name your Popplet “Master Frog.” Pick a color, then add a picture to represent the story.
At either side of the popple, add and connect a bubble.
Type the vocabulary word. Change the color.
At either side of the vocabulary word popple, add and connect another bubble and then add the definition for the vocabulary word.
Add and connect another popple to the vocabulary word, change the color and insert a picture that represents the meaning of the vocabulary word.
Repeat steps 4-7 for each vocabulary word.
After your popplet is completed, create a new popplet to put your names.
Click “Export” then “save JPEG” and your popplet will automatically save.
