1 December Homework - Newsletter
Please complete the homework from the daily math packet, read at least one book, and practice word list words each night. Record book read on Reading Log. Monday Night: Use primary tablet to write a simple sentence for each sight word. Look at calendar below for this weeks sight words. Tear sheet out of the tablet and place in the front pocket of homework folder. Tuesday Night: Write your first, middle, and last name on each line. (Use the paper provided in your homework folder). Wednesday Night: please make sure you do your daily math packet homework, read and record a book, and study your wordlist. (Take extra time to spend with family) Thursday Night:Write numbers 1-30 Look below for shape, color, letter, sight words, and other things we are learning each week. Important Dates: December 6th- Advisory 6:00. 7:00 2nd grade performs December 22- Christmas Break begins January 3rd- Students return to school Important Reminders: Please send a note to teacher if your child is absent for any reason. Please study sight words nightly. Review goals for this nine weeks with your child (in homework folder) Initial behavior folders nightly Clean out homework folders every night. Take out completed/checked work.
