3. Top tips to be successful in Year 5
Daily reading at home.
Daily multiplication/ number facts practice.
Signing child’s reading journal daily.
Supporting your child with all home learning- spellings, mathematics and English.
Set times at home to complete all work asked.

4. The general order of the day in our Key Stage 2 classes.
8:30am prayers & registration
9:30 am water and fruit break
10:30am playtime
12:00pm lunchtime
1:00pm afternoon session
3:00pm end of the school day

5. General routines Homework Music is on a Wednesday
PE is on a Thursday (indoor); Friday (outdoor)
Homework
Daily reading.
Spellings are sent home on Monday and tested on Friday. ALL children are expected to practise them every night, to be checked the following day.
Maths and English is sent home on a Wednesday and due in on a Tuesday.

6. Mass We celebrate Mass in school regularly.
