1 Comments & Suggestions
The Beacon Health Group Newsletter Edition 7 Comments & Suggestions We hope you are enjoying our new and relevant patient information on our call screen at Danbury Medical Centre. Please be aware the Mission have authorised Beacon Health Group patients to use their additional parking available within their car park. To access this please drive into the Mission’s grounds and proceed around to their parking area opposite Danbury medical Centre. We appreciate the difficulties with the signage for Danbury Medical Centre when arriving at the surgery from Eves Corner. However the signs were installed before we occupied the building and unfortunately we aren't in the position to move these signs. Friends and family forms are available to complete on our website. Like most practices these are no longer paper based. PPG Update You are invited to join our next Patient Participant Group meeting at Mountbatten House Surgery on Monday 2nd October 2017 at 18:30pm.

2 Review dates can be found on all repeat slips.
All patients must have a medication review. This is to meet with a Doctor or Nurse and discuss your medication so it can be updated or changed where necessary for the continuation of your care Your GP is the one with the clinical responsibility for the prescribing of any drugs issued on an FP10 (NHS GP prescription) . Meaning although our patients may have had a review at the hospital we do not get any blood results undertaken by the hospital or results of any other clinical investigations carried out e.g. BP readings. Therefore this is the reason why the GP will request the patient be seen for a review. Aside from this, the patient  may take medication in addition to this monitored at the hospital. Review dates can  be found on all repeat slips. DNA’S The Beacon Health Group have sadly once again had an alarming number of DNA’s reported for the month of July 2017.
