NEAR EVENTS April 2017 Stanwood swapfest on 5/13
Federal Way Digital workshop on 5/13. Nelson says: I had kinda planned to attend Stanwood, assuming others were interested in a van pool. But I’ve also been asked to do the WSPR presentation at the FW workshop. I told them I MIGHT, depending on interest in Stanwood, etc. So perhaps you can see who’d be interested with serious intent in the swapfest, to help me decide and remind those interested that we have to plan (only mildly) for it.

2017 FD Planning April 2017 Minimum of 2 K3s and GOTA station
We need more operators – Both CW and SSB Can use a mobile rig for UHF/VHF Antenna complex 3 wire or 2 wire and beam + collinear We may not need the Triband Yagi Use 18’ TRAM High-Gain Collinear for UHFVHF 6 meters only if someone wants to set up and operate Need FD Chair Need someone responsible for food (could be Pizza etc) Need operator sign up sheet filled out Need a public relations person and some hand outs etc Need a Safety Officer Need 3 or 4 lap tops up and operating with logging program prior to the FD event
