During the course of this unit, we have discussed many problems occurring in society. Can anyone recall the problems going on in society during this time period??

4. Muckraker Persuasive Article Essay
Four main problems in society were urban problems, improving government, regulating big business, and discrimination. Today You will be writing a persuasive piece that addresses one issue that you find to be in serious need of reform. Once you have selected a problem, you will conduct research in order to develop a proposal convincing an audience of your peers that your problem is a valid issue, is in need of reform, and that your plan presents a logical, realistic solution. As a class, lets go over the directions.
