HISTORY Since its beginning in 1921, ASB included bank staff education as regular activity Bank Training Center as a special organizational unit within the ASB was established in 2001 Non profit oriented approach – ASB and BTC

VISION Providing the banking industry in Serbia such an educational approach which has an immediate access to innovations and new concepts in the mainstream international financial markets, best banking practices and enabling bankers working hand in hand with both banks locally and foreign capital banks parent companies abroad.

STRATEGY Encompassing the wide variety of topics and issues, leaving the school programs to be performed by the entities regulated by the educational national system. But, nowadays… we have awareness of a new role of the training that has to meet requirements of the banking and society

Permanent staff BTC Seka, Bojana, Nikola & Sladjana Plus special advisors employed in ASB Plus experts commissioned for particular thematic areas and events

INTERNATIONAL CO-OPERATION
Recognized by the foreign education providers as the proper local partner, the ASB has been taking part in projects funded by foreign governments: Past - Bank Academy International, F/M (financial support within the frame of the Stability Pact for South East Europe - German Government participation) and On-going: Agence de Transfer de Technologie Financiere (ATTF), Luxembourg Cooperation: USAID (programs) and EBTN (membership)

When the bank offered demo-desk PC + lady explaining e-banking in vivo, usage of e-banking increased! Social media ex. can Facebook become new tool in financial literacy? Counters – are the banks’ clerks the one to educate the clients or we can work something together to help them? What else do you see as a challenge/opportunity?
