This tutorial explains how to edit and view your profile on SimpleVLE.com. It also contains instructions on how to upload a profile picture or avatar as well as how to browse your students' profiles as well.

2. Click the profile button

3. Click 'view' profile

4. Click 'New avatar' to upload a new profile picture.

5. Click the 'Add Picture' button

6. Browse your computer to find and select the picture you want to upload.

7. Click the 'Start' button to upload the picture

8. After verifying that the upload is complete, just click the 'X' icon at the top right corner of the window to close it.
Wait until the picture is finished uploading before closing the window.

9. The page will refresh and your profile picture will be updated.
Note: Landscape pictures will resize better than portraits.
Click the 'Edit Profile' button on the left-side navigation menu to edit your profile

10. Your profile is only accessible by others if they search for your name or username in the messaging section when composing a new message. However, you can hide your profile by selecting the option at the bottom of this page. Your students will be the only people on SimpleVLE that can access your profile.
You can change any of the profile data within this page. The only attribute that you cannot change is your username.
Click the 'Hide my profile from other users' button to prevent people from being able to search and view your profile.

11. Click the 'Submit' button to save your changes.

12. Your profile has been saved.
To view your students' profiles, you can click any of your classes here

14. Click a student name to view their profile

15. Click 'Send Message' to see that student a message.
