Objective: Give an overview of major events in US history and the impact each had on the US. Identify the rationale for the basic structure of the US government.

House of Representatives-Population, 435 total Senate-every state gets 2, 100 total

9 Judicial Interprets laws, judges violations of laws
Supreme Court-reviews decisions, interprets laws Federal, State, Local Courts-judges violations and settles disputes

10 Checks and Balances All 3 branches share power and can check other branches. Think of some checks and balances
