Who’s Who? Jennifer Byrd – Nurse Manager of RMC and Meduflex
Brittany Meibers – Assistant Nurse Manager of RMC and Meduflex Ramona Oliver – Administrative Assistant for Travelers, RMC & IOP Staff Paula Reavis – Administrative Assistant for Meduflex RMC (Resource Management Center – staffing office) 24/7 staffing for all 4 hospitals (ART, MH, IOP & Children’s) Days: Melissa Southard, Clinical Staffing Coordinator Lauren Osti, Clinical Staffing Coordinator Jamie Brick, Clinical Staffing Coordinator (part time, starts mid-Jan) Carol White, Staffing Assistant (10AM-6:30PM) Nights: Shawn Gathers, Staffing Assistant Brittney Crawford, Staffing Assistant Andrea Perry, Staffing Assistant And one more part time staffing assistant to be hired

Who do I go to for… Schedule changes/additions to schedule:

Staffing Updates RNs : Peds MS, Adult MS, MI, IOP, Peds CC, Adult CC zones Progressive Zones coming in future Cross training Peds MS RNs PCTs: Can and are expected to float everywhere… any questions or concerns, let us know PSCs: Can and are expected to sit anywhere… any questions or concerns, let us know PSAs: (NEW ROLE) Currently will only work in ED and IOP TAs: - Currently floating to IOP and ED. Role clarification to ED staff provided

Shared Governance Our purpose:
These Unit Based Councils are responsible and accountable for information sharing and decision making as well as implementation of decisions made at the organizational level councils. Councils are empowered to address specific barriers to excellent patient care on their respective units and make decisions related to implementation and communication of the changes. Councils shall be responsible for identifying system wide barriers/opportunities, creating the referral, and addressing with the appropriate organizational shared governance council. In a more simplified sentence our job as Shared Governance is to help make Meduflex the best it can be!

Employee Engagement Survey
What: This is how you rate your leaders and the organization Why: To help us all grow and be better leaders and help the organization meet their goals. When: Surveys will be sent via February 6 through 20th **Ambassadors needed by January – volunteers needed! Contact us if interested! Who: It takes ALL of you! 100% of our staff is our goal! Last year we hit 72% participation, if we hit 90% this year I will provide a pizza party. Lets DO THIS!

Smart Square FAQ & FYI Everyone should be able to enter schedules through the open shift system 30 day rolling periods for scheduling 24 hr staffing office up and running (RMC) Expansion into Phase 2 coming soon When we sign up for shifts, is there any way to know how many other Meduflex people have already signed up to see if we should pick a different day so it’s less likely we’ll get cancelled? Working on this with the system; currently, no Putting notes in our shifts – can we do this to alert the RMC of certain things ? No! LCR is the only note that should be going in, just to alert that you would be OK with being called off first if there is low census

Education Reminders Competencies are coming – Linda to give more details Will be mailed out by January 18th MyQuest annual requirements: Must be completed no later than June 30, 2017 RNs: Code narrator was assigned in MyQuest and must be done by FEBRUARY 2nd
