London Visit 2017 24th – 26th May

Day Activity Time Wednesday 24th May Leave Shavington 8:00am Arrive in London – Tower of London 12:00pm – 1pm Guided Activity TOL 1:30pm Evening meal at Rainforest Cafe 6:15pm Return to Hotel 8:00pm Thursday 25th May Breakfast Walk through London and parks 9:00am Packed Lunch 12:00pm London Eye Visit with Discovery Tour 2:00pm Evening meal at McDonalds 6:00pm Matilda Theatre Show 7:00pm Return to hotel 10:30pm Friday 26th May National History Museum 10:00am Leave Museum 1:30-2pm Arrive back to SPS 6:00pm (ish)

The Basics No set dress code
Sensible shoes as there will be lots of walking Waterproof coat if the weather is bad – we will still be walking! Packed lunch is needed on day 1 with snacks A refillable water bottle is needed – children will be provided with drinks A small rucksack/carry bag to carry lunches/gifts etc

Medicine Medical forms to be completed and returned as soon as possible Any medicines will be kept by Mrs Kinsey and administered by Mrs Kinsey

Food Wednesday night – Rainforest Café – Pre-order needed
Breakfast both mornings from the hot buffet Lunch choice of Tesco sandwiches Thursday night – McDonald’s – Pre-order needed

The Accomodation

Details All rooms are booked to be on the same floor
Floor plan of rooms will be given to us on arrival and then names of children will be added Safety procedures will be explained at the hotel – including number for internal call to reach staff rooms

Spending Money All places we visit have shops! Rainforest café
National History Museum Tower of London We are not going to limit money but… Perhaps plan if you want something from a particular shop Happy to keep money in a named envelope for a specific purpose Children will need to look after their gifts and money

The Walk - Thursday Start at Green Park bus stop
Walk through Green Park to Buckingham Palace for photos etc. Games in the park with picnic Walking through London, The Mall, St James’ Park, Downing Street, Westminster and on to the London Eye
