3 Workshop Report Workshop overview: Key Issues (Standards):
Held 3 Feb 09 in Los Angeles, sponsored by SAB & T&C. Purpose: to establish a roadmap for game engineering technology standards. Attendees: GameSIG (Orange County), TFGT. Key Issues (Standards): Convincing game tech industry who think we do not need standards. Working with other standards committees. Industry outreach. Key Issues (Technical): GameSIG (Orange County) feels isolated. Members are a ready source for game engineering articles. Relationships with TFGT and other tech committees (Visualization & Graphics TC, Human Interface and Artificial Intelligence, Audio). 20 Mar 09 Game Technology Standards – Winter 2009
