2. What is the Business acumen Gauge?
It is a multi rater (360) on line tool which assesses the participant across eleven components called capabilities. Each of the capabilities has a set of behaviours and attributes that can be assessed. The online assessment is completed by participant (as a self assessment) and by respondents as nominated by the participant (this may include Manager, Peers, Reports) and provides a point in time snapshot of the importance of each of the 11 capabilities in the participants role and how well the participant demonstrates each capability in their role currently.
The 11 Business Acumen capabilities are based on information drawn from a number of sources, including extensive academic literature and industry research, multiple phases of testing, expert and face validity with business leaders in multiple organisations and a comparative database in excess of 1,000 executives. The extensive report produced is a comprehensive picture of multiple perspectives of the participants business acumen. It is accompanied by a personal debrief and a user guide.
