Pick Up “Candidate Information Packet” on Feb 15 or after
Turn in “Candidate Information Packet” on or before March 8 – 4:30 pm to H213
Faculty Council reads all the packets
Discipline & attendance check for all candidates
Faculty feedback
Faculty Council Selection Meeting
Notification letter – week of April 10th
Induction – Sunday April 30th

5. Graduating Seniors If selected –
Complete 5 hours of service before May 10
Listed on graduation program as “NHS Graduate” and eligible to wear NHS collar

Teachers will fill out a MAX of 25 forms, ask early!

13. Helpful Hints
Scan, photograph, or copy the packet before you turn it in – we will not be giving them back
Don’t forget signatures – they must be from adults
Don’t add attachments unless absolutely necessary
High school activities only
If you’ve moved, , scan/fax – no parents – get adult verifications – you have almost a month
Advocate for yourself – don’t be afraid to brag or talk to your teachers
