5 Blue Baltics – LNG infrastructure facility deployment in the Baltic Sea region
The action shall contribute to the implementation of the SECA and MARPOL regulations by means of providing LNG as clean transport fuel for the involved stakeholders. Total Budget: € 47,605,000 EU contribution: € 15,046,000 Duration: March 2016-June 2019

6 Methanol: The marine fuel of the Future
To test the performance of methanol on the existing passenger ferry Stena Germanica by retrofitting the vessels to prove the feasibility. Total Budget: € 22,502,000 EU contribution: € 11,251,000 Duration: action completed

7 Fresh Food Corridors - 2014-EU-TM-0531-S
To test and enhance a sustainable inter-modal transport and logistics system for freight movement between Mediterranean and Northern European destinations by rail and sea. Total budget: € 21,405,945.45 EU contribution: € 10,702,972.72 Duration: September 2014 – October 2017

8 Sea Traffic Management (STM) Validation project
Establishing large-scale test beds for new Sea Traffic Management in the Nordic region and in the Mediterranean Sea. Pilot a new route optimisation concept Total Budget: €42,977,434 EU contribution: €21,488,717 Duration: January – December 2018

9 Consultation with stakeholders
3 possible directions: Cover all ports but be more selective in priority actions. Link MoS better with CNCs. Focus on comprehensive ports.
