Building a CMMI Data Infrastructure
February 6-7, 2017 Name: Tamas Budavari Title: Assistant Professor Institution: The Johns Hopkins University Research Interests: Computational statistics; Bayesian inference Low-dimensional embeddings; Parallel processing on GPUs Scientific databases Data you could provide to a Data Repository All publically releasable data from the MEDE program, i.e., after it has been cleared internally. That includes experimental and simulation data on materials from characterization and discovery experiments. Major challenges to building a shared CMMI Data Repository: Cultural change; Easy-to-use solutions; Standardized transfers What you hope to get from this Workshop: Very much look forward to lively discussion on data storage and access in theory and practice
