6 Trees improve water quality by slowing and filtering rain water, as well as protecting aquifers and watersheds. Trees clean the air by absorbing odor & pollutants

7 By cooling the air and ground, the trees helps cool the Earths temperature.
Trees improve water quality by slowing and filtering rain water, as well as protecting aquifers and watersheds.

8 An acre of Trees can provide oxygen for 18 people
Trees shield from ultra-violet rays Trees bring diverse groups of people together

9 The evaporation from single tree can produce the cooling effect of 10 room size air conditioners operating 20 hours a day Trees cool the streets and the city by upto 10° F Trees improve water quality by slowing and filtering rain water, as well as protecting aquifers and watersheds.

10 Trees renew air supply by absorbing carbondioxide & producing oxygen
Trees renew air supply by absorbing carbondioxide & producing oxygen. One tree absorbs roughly 22 kg CO2 and produce 2700 kg oxygen in a year. In one year, an acre of mature trees absorbs the amount of CO2 produced when you drive your car 26,000 miles. Trees improve water quality by slowing and filtering rain water, as well as protecting aquifers and watersheds.

11 Trees helps to stop land Erosion
Trees also help to prevent from a flood.

12 It takes approximately 2 tonnes of timber to make 1 tonne of paper
It takes approximately 2 tonnes of timber to make 1 tonne of paper. One tonne of recycled paper saves approximately 15 trees and their habitat.

13 Less than 10 percent of the planet’s land area remains as intact forest landscapes

14 Don’t look on trees as commodity, but as an endangered species.
