2 Benefits and Impacts 1st Element: Green House Gas Emission (GHG) & Environment 2nd Element: Workforce Education (Work-Experience) 3rd Element: The land is located in SW; the project is operated and owned by SW residents and business owners. 4th Element: The solar will power Early Readers Preschool! 5th Element: Walking distance to HSR, Chinatown, the stadium, and biking distance to SCCCD. Image Illustrating Elements and Benefits 1st Element is Green House Gas Emission (GHG) & Environment 1st benefit is that the ride share program will reduce emissions in the air as southwest (SW) Fresno residents share rides from Downtown to worksites such as Amazon in SW Fresno and the SCCCD site. The solar power charging station would reduce the energy that we’d used to operate Early Readers Preschool and for the public to charge their vehicles. 2nd Element is Workforce Education (Work-Experience) 2nd benefit is that our ride share will provide training through the County’s Cal-Works referrals to ERP. This is aimed for students who need to gain 6 mo. of experience in transportation in order to gain employment. Residents within the neighborhood would have priority Shaded Solar Powered Vehicle Charding Station & Ride Share Program

3 Our Project Meets All 3 TCC Goals
TCC Goals and Criteria Our Project Meets All 3 TCC Goals 1st Goal - eliminating GHG emissions from our project by providing zero emission electric vans. This fulfills TCC’s criteria of Transit Access and Mobility by providing a low carbon ride share. Provide access to the only public charging station in South West Fresno. 2nd Goal – environmental benefits under the TCC Criteria of Transit Access and Mobility. 3rd Goal – economic opportunities by meeting the criteria of offering workforce training for students/grads. Image Illustrating How Fulfills Goals and Criteria Our detailed budget, current achievable, relationships with our solar company and the Cal-Works dept., and our matching funds from myself, Paul Hill, and cite control by Jim and Carla Hill, property value, and the preschool permits demonstrates that our goals are specific, measurable. Based upon community engagement our project meets a direct need for residents in the place. 1st Goal - This free community service and resource fulfills TCC’s goal of eliminating GHG emissions from our project by providing zero emission electric vans for van pooling and ride share for the families of ERP and residents working in SW Fresno - Downtown. This fulfills TCC’s criteria of Transit Access and Mobility by providing a low carbon ride share. 2nd Goal – For the same reasons of meeting the GHG goals it also fulfills TCC’s goal of environmental benefits under the TCC Criteria of Transit Access and Mobility. 3rd Goal – The ride share program fulfills TCC’s goal of economic opportunities by meeting the criteria of offering workforce training for students looking for work-experience in order to gain employment in the electric vehicle transportation industry.
