2. Introduction
This presentation is designed to teach you about composites.
How composite is manufactured.
Why do we use composites over metals?
Finally, the drilling and manufacturing process guides for new hires out on the shop floor.

3. What is Composite or CFRP.
In Aerospace composites are generally referred to as: CFRP or Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic.

4. There are many different layers.
You can have as many as you want

5. Manufacturing Rotate 45 Degrees for each ply.
By doing this, the structural integrity of this CFRP is immensely increased!

6. CFRP Cross section lay-up = neat looking design!
New machines that do the lay-up process now.
