2 Biotic The term bio comes from the Greek root for life. So anything that starts with bio deals with life. Biology-the study of life

3 Abiotic The root A comes from not. So Abio= no life.

4 Abiotic and Biotic Interaction
An ecosystem is made up the living and nonliving things that make up an area. Give some examples of an ecosystem (these are not always large areas): How do they interact?

5 Levels of Organization
An organism is 1 type of living thing, only 1. A population is a group of the same species of organisms.

6 Levels of Organization
A community is several different types of organisms living in an area.

7 Levels of Organization
An ecosystem is made up of all the living and non-living things in an area. (Biotic and Abiotic)
