The Asset Allocation page shows you how your assets are currently divided up among the investment options that you have selected. Additionally, this page will tell you how your assets are divided up between the different investment categories and tell you the dollar amount in each investment. At the bottom of the page you can change the date shown to see how your allocation has changed over time. You’ll notice that the navigation menu on the left is still present so that you don’t have to return to the home page to view other account details. Now you may want to look at how your assets are performing. To do so, click on My Rate of Return. What you can change: Nothing
12
Your Rate of Return Your Rate of Return will show you how your investments have performed over a certain period of time. This is shown using a green colored arrow pointing up if your investments have performed positively over the date range, or a red arrow pointing down if your investments have performed negatively over the date range chosen. You can change the date range to select a specific time period if you’d like. But remember, past performance is not a prediction or guarantee of future performance. After you have reviewed your Asset Allocation and Rate of Return, you may decide to make changes to your account. Click on the Change Account link to see what transactions you can do online. What you can change: Nothing
13
Change Account The Change Account features allow you to make changes to your account quickly and easily. It will list all the changes you can make to your account, everything from changing your PIN to updating your beneficiary information. For this example, let’s assume you want to transfer funds from one investment to another. Click on Fund Transfer. What you can change: Nothing
14
Transfer Funds The Fund Transfer screen will show you the different investment options you currently have elected. To make a change, you will need to place a check mark in the box of the fund you want to transfer from and enter either a percentage or dollar amount of the fund that you’d like to transfer money out of. What you can change: Nothing
15
Transfer Funds Let’s assume you want to move 10% of your American Funds EuroPacific A fund balance into a different fund. Check the appropriate box and type the number 10 in the Percentage field. It is important to remember to only fill in either the percentage change box OR the dollar amount box. Then click on “Continue to the next step.” What you can change: Nothing
16
Transfer Funds What you can change: Nothing
Continuing on, we have chosen to transfer 10% of your American Funds EuroPacific A fund balance into the T. Rowe Price Blue Chip Growth Fund. For this example, we will transfer the entire amount into this fund, so we will type 100 into the percent field next to the T. Rowe Price Blue Chip Growth Fund. Additionally, if we wanted to spread this money among more than one fund option, we would simply put whatever percentage we want next to each fund in which we would like to transfer our money. After this, you can hit Calculate Total to make sure that your choices add up to 100%. Then hit Continue. What you can change: Nothing
17
Transfer Funds You have now reached the final screen of the Fund Transfer process. This is a confirmation screen that will show you what you’ve elected to do. If everything is correct and you’d like to proceed with the Fund Transfer, click on the Submit Transfer button. After you click on submit, you will see a confirmation page that provides you with a confirmation number to let you know the change was completed successfully. What you can change: Nothing

Redirect Future Contributions
Now that you know how to transfer your existing balance among the different fund options, let’s take a look at how you redirect where you want your future contributions to go. Click on the Redirect Future Contributions link on the left-navigation menu. What you can change: Nothing
19
Redirect Future Contributions
In this example, we are going to assume that you want to direct all of your future contributions to the Vanguard Target Retirement 2050 Fund. To do so, type 100 into the appropriate percentage field and click Continue. Additionally, in the future, if you wanted to change your future allocations to more than one investment option, you would simply input the percentage of your future contribution that you want going into each chosen fund in the box next to each fund. What you can change: Nothing
20
Redirect Future Contributions
The next screen will verify with you the fund you have chosen for your future allocations. Additionally, the page will then ask you if you also want to redirect your current account balance to the same fund that you have chosen to redirect your future contributions to. In order to do that, you must put a check mark in the box that says Reallocate Current Account Balance and then click on Continue. If you want your current account balance to remain in the investment options they are already in, do not check that box. If you have already visited the fund-to-fund transfer page and initiated a fund-to-fund transfer, you CANNOT reallocate your current balance in the same way that you are redirecting future contributions. This is because you already have an order in to transfer money between investment options. If at this point you have decided you would rather reallocate your current balance in the same way as your future contributions, you can hit the Cancel button on this page, and then click on the Cancel Transfer link on the left side of the screen. Once you do this, you can cancel your previous order and then go back through the process to reallocate your contributions and current balance in the same way. What you can change: Nothing
21
Redirect Future Contributions
You are now on our Rebalancer page. This page will show up if you have chosen to reallocate your current balance in the same way that your future contributions will be directed. This feature of your Plan will allow you to set up your account to be rebalanced automatically in the manner that you specify. You may choose to rebalance once, quarterly, semi-annually or annually. Additionally, you can set this up to happen today or you can choose a date in the future that you would like your rebalancing to take place. You will now be asked to confirm the redirection of your future contributions and current account balance. For this example, we’ll assume that you want to reallocate your current balance as indicated, that you want to do it only once, and that you want the transaction to be processed today. Click in each of the indicated radio buttons and then click Continue. What you can change: Nothing
22
Redirect Future Contributions
The last step in redirecting your future contributions and current account balance is a verification screen. If everything is correct, click on Submit to process the transaction. When you click on submit, you will see a confirmation page that confirms the actions you have taken, and finally, you will see a confirmation number to let you know the change was completed successfully. What you can change: Nothing
23
Change Your Deferral Next, we’ll look at how you can change your deferral amount online. You may increase, decrease, restart or stop your deferral authorization once per month. Deferral changes requested by the end of the current month will become effective the following month. (Note, Department of Human Services only: Changes must be requested by the 15th of the month to be effective the following month.) Attempting to change your deferral amount more than once per calendar month may have an adverse effect on your payroll. What you can change: Nothing
24
Change Your Deferral This is a very easy transaction to complete. After reviewing the deferral information on the previous page, click Continue. What you can change: Nothing
25
Change Your Deferral In this example, we’ll assume you want to increase your deferral amount to $100 per paycheck. Simply type 100 into the Before Tax field and click Continue. Always remember to type the new total dollar amount into the field, not just the amount by which you are increasing. You’re now on your way to saving more for your future. When you click Continue, you will see a confirmation page that provides you with a confirmation number to let you know the change was completed successfully. Additionally, if you ever run into the need to decrease your deferral amount, you would enter the contribution amount to which you would like your contribution decreased. What you can change: Nothing
