-large in plant cells, small in animal cells

6. Chloroplasts -typically green cell parts that capture the sunlight
-contain chlorophyll which is used in photosynthesis

7. Mitochondria
-”powerhouse” of cell
-turns sugar into ATP

8. Lysosomes
-mostly in animal cells
-digests food, waste, invaders

9. Ribosomes
-cells can have many
-make proteins
