1. Jawed Zouari
Professor Jawed Zouari is a tenured faculty at Seattle Central College (SCC). He has been teaching interdisciplinary courses in Political Science and History at SCC since He has also taught courses in International Relations and History at several colleges and universities, including the University of Washington (UW), Seattle University, and the University of Tunis. Professor Zouari was invited to teach a course on the "Arab Spring" at the Martin School of International Studies, University of Idaho.
He holds a Ph.D. in History of the Modern Middle East, Department of History, UW; an M.A. in International Studies from the Henry Jackson School of International Studies, UW; and a B.A. in Political Science and modern languages (French) from Portland State University.
In 2013 he was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship for the second time, and taught International Affairs for a year at Qatar University. In 2003 he was awarded his first Fulbright Scholarship and spent two academic years at the University of Tunis.
