42 Ready to Learn Approximately 58 hours of learning were lost last year due to students attending late to lessons All students will be expected to attend every lesson on time If students do not attend their lesson on time ready to meet and greet their teacher and before the second bell has sounded, they will receive a late mark recorded on the register Any student with a late mark will receive a 15 minute payback at the end of the day for each late mark Parent/Carers will be informed Year 7 have a settling in period and will not be given a consequence until after 18th September

43 Attendance Target for Year 10 = 96%
Any student with 90% attendance is classed as persistently absent from school Haileybury Turnford will continue to work with A10 Attendance Improvement Officer, who will have the responsibility to enforce school attendance and will issue penalty notices including court action where necessary If your son/daughter misses school it is imperative to speak to their teachers when they are back to catch up on the work missed
