Thursday 26th January – India republic day and Australia Day (come dressed in clothes related to these days)

Child collection policy
Please see attached for you to take a look at. All policies are reviewed at our monthly staff meeting.
In January we will be….
Introducing a tumble tots music and movement session each week. This will involve lots of dancing, stretching and fun!! Please can you collect any plastic bottles of containers you may have so we can make instruments for this session. Feel free to join us.
Staff information : Well done to Deepa who recently completed her paediatric first aid.

2. Adam getting his Christmas present from Santa.
Health and safety:
Please can I remind parents to ensure that their child is not wearing shoes with laces as this is a health and safety risk.

Children’s centre visits
In January we would like to introduce regular visits to the children’s centre for sessions such as cooking and fun experiments. Please ask Aisha for more information.
Nursery development
We are currently working on our action plan for the nursery and would appreciate any feedback or ideas that you may have to help with developing the nursery.
We have also introduced a weekend and holiday bear to the nursery. Please do let your child’s key person if you are going away, or would like to take this home.
Parent partnership:
Our EYFS workshop is booked for Wednesday 18th January. One session is from pm and the other is from pm. I hope you can make one of these.
Activities to try at home:
Make a laminated song book with all of your child’s favourite songs. This will help them with recognising letters and words.
