1 Differentiated instruction focuses on teaching strategies that give diverse students multiple options for taking in and processing information, making sense of ideas, and expressing learning. Technology tools can support good instruction and offer personalized learning environments in which students interact with software, conduct research, create products, and communicate with others outside their school. Both differentiated instruction and technology tools are important for 21st-century education, aka digital age learning. 6 The content is organized by strand
The content is organized by strand. You can assign students to a strand or they can move back and forth between them. The first time a kid works in a domain they take the diagnostic test. This assesses where the kids are at with this specific math strand. It allows you to differentiate for the kids without having to do any additional work. It finds out where they are, and works on those specific standards, no matter the grade.

12 Inquiry Based Lessons Inquiry based lessons are cross-curricular activities that build conceptual understanding of mathematical topics while students explore real-world scenarios! In Front Row’s Inquiry based lessons, students develop the questions to answer and work together to find solutions. These lessons encourage collaboration, critical thinking, and productive struggle among students. By moving away from rote textbook learning and towards real world problem solving, these lessons result in higher student engagement and a much deeper understanding of math concepts.
