The work of a manager is mainly about planning and organizing.
It is not a manager’s job to allocate human, physical and capital resources available to them.
Managers organize the work into manageable activities, and decide who will do individual jobs.
Managers have to be excellent at communicating their objectives to the staff and motivating them.
