2. Description A disease which affects the skin and joints
It commonly causes red scaly patches to appear on the skin which are areas of inflammation and skin production
It frequently occurs on the skin of the elbows and knees, but can affect any area including the scalp and genitals.

3. Cause 2 HYPOTHESIS Is not fully understood
The problem is a fault of the epidermis and its keratinocytes
which the excessive reproduction of skin cells is secondary to factors produced by the immune system
