As Marel customers are spread around the world, a proven ability to work in a diverse environment is essential, as is an ability to deliver customer-centric solutions. As a Marel service engineer, you will be required to travel extensively, often at short notice Manufacturing / Production Skilled individuals interested in working on a variety of challenging and highly innovative products. Fish Marel has for example developed a new salmon deheader – the MS 2720 – that minimizes manual handling and improves quality and yield. The new MS 2720 automatic deheading machine for salmon was exhibited at the annual Marel Salmon ShowHow in Copenhagen on February 8, This innovative system is still in its pre-release phase and Marel is working with key salmon industry operators to finalize its development. LEADERSHIP Arni Oddur Thordarson, Chief Executive Officer
Marel’s CEO since 2013, Thordarson served on the Board of Directors from 2005 to 2013, the majority of the time as Chairman. During his time as CEO, he has overseen many of the initiatives that have made Marel a leader in the food processing industry. Garðaskóli, March 2017
