As densely populated country in central Eu and with developed economy , Germany has a dense and modern infrastructure.
The extensive German autobahn(highway system) network famously has no speed limit for light vehicles such as cars ,motorbikes ,bicycles etc.
Intensity bus service within German fell out of favour as post war prosperity increased and became almost extinct when legislation was introduced in the 1980s to protect the national railway . After that market was deregulated in 2012 , some new intensity bus lines have been established.
Public transport include buses , trains , aeroplane etc.
The speed limit or Richtgeschwindigkeit is 130 km/hr for light vehicles.

8. Deutsche Bahn is the major Germany railway infrastructure and service operator .
It is a private company but on several cases it is announced as a government owned company maybe owing to the company's good reputation and incomparable competence .
This company receives no subsidies from government.
Local trains are however subsidised by the gvt.
The fastest high-speed train operated by the DB is the InterCityExpress or ICE which connects Gmy and neighbouring international centres such as Zurich , Paris , Vienna etc.
Rail services are even extended to small towns and villages.eg on regular lines there is at least a train in every 2hrs.
